Chemical dependency and/or conflict can interrupt this journey and create dissatisfaction for individuals and their families. Even though the ones we love are there to support us, sometimes our journey cannot productively continue without outside intervention. This is why we are here to help. Harmful Interactions:  Mixing Alcohol with Medicine

Did you Know…? Many types of medication can make you sleepy. Taking these medicines while drinking can make you even more drowsy, dizzy, and light-headed. You may have trouble concentrating or performing mechanical skills. Mixing alcohol with certain medicines makes it dangerous for you to drive.

Remember… Mixing alcohol in a medication puts you at risk for dangerous reactions. PROTECT YOURSELF by avoiding alcohol if you are taking medication.
